Wheel Technician - Retread
Our client is one of the largest commercial tire dealers and re-treaders in the nation, recognized as an industry leader in providing innovative outsourcing alternatives for one-truck fleets to large, multi-location trucking fleets.
Your duties will include; learning our tire retread process from start to finish. Will inspect the tires, remove old rubber from the tires, look for separations in the tires, repair the tires, place adhesive and staples on the tires, take air out of the tires, and then complete the final inspection process of the tires.
In order to be successful in this position you must:
- Must be able to lift 50Lbs on a continued basis.
- Must be able to work in warehouse that is not climate controlled; hot in summer and cold in winter.
- Must have excellent math and reading skills.
- Will also be responsible for keep your work area clean.
