Responsibilities:

As a Charge Nurse (RN), you’ll be responsible for directing and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities while ensuring the highest degree of quality care in accordance with resident needs, government regulations and our internal policies and procedures. Tasks in this role also include determining shift staffing requirements, participating in employee performance evaluations as well as conducting in-service training classes, developing and implementing the department’s quality assurance program and ensuring the department has adequate supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

Position requirements include:
  • Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
  • Must have memory care experience.
  • Current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in this state.
  • Must be a strong team player with proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of our residents, including the ability to plan, develop and implement applicable programs, goals, policies, procedures, etc.
  • Excellent verbal/written English communication skills are required.
  • Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
