Position Summary: 
Food Service Managers perform a number of daily tasks. Please review the job duty list to ensure you can perform these duties.
  • Must be extremely proficient in customer service representative duties and responsibilities. ()
  • Will partner with store level management and with company level management to provide customers with service in the food service area as outlined by the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Will address issues with in the food service area at store level to assure effective and long-term problem resolution.
  • Will follow up with general store managers on communications as relates to food service up to and including: emails, weekly and monthly specials and company wide programs.
  • Responsible for merchandising up to and including: checking pricing of products, evaluate freshness, product presentation and signage.
  • Responsible for customer service in the food service area.
  • Will be versed in all food service operations up to and including food service policies, food service control methods, methods of cooking in large quantities, food inventory control and ordering, food storage methods and rotation of perishable foods, equipment condition, staffing levels, accounting / office procedures for food service, food preparation as in weights, serving amounts, proper assembly.
  • Will know and stay informed on all health and food safety information and regulations including food quality, food service guidelines, and sanitation guidelines as well as enforce all local, state, and federal laws that apply to the food service area.
  • Will initiate all company food service promotions at store level.
  • Will train and supervise customer service representatives in food service responsibilities.
  • Perform all other tasks as they are assigned by management

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Able to pass a drug screen
  • The ability to complete this employment application process

  • The ability to read, write, understand and speak English
  • Be able to hear the spoken word
  • Have a high school diploma/GED and/or 1 year or more food service experience

Working conditions are in a retail store environment. The job covers days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Work can be stressful when dealing with the public. The physical environment will be subject to weather conditions, equipment noise and functions.

Physical effort requires standing for long periods of time, walking, sitting, writing, handling product and equipment, reach above the head and below the knees, climb ladders, stoop, kneel. On occasion you may be required to lift up to 55 pounds. You must be able to see up close, far away, be able to tell colors and have depth perception.
