Associate Product Manager (Japanese Speaking)

Description

Utilize your exceptional leadership, communication and analytical skills as an Associate Product Manager at Medline. Located in our corporate office in Mundelein, IL, this individual will work closely with the Product Manager to plan, organize and control the product line from the conceptual stage through the product life cycle to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives. We are seeking a dynamic, creative and hard-working professional with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, large corporate environment.

The challenging responsibilities of the position include:

• Development and launch of new product lines and/or product improvements
• Assisting in the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies
• Collaborating with marketing to develop promotional pieces and design packaging
• Researching the market and performing analyses to determine new opportunities to grow the business
• Crafting and delivering presentations to our sales force and customers
• Negotiating with vendors to ensure business goals are met while maintaining strong business relationships
• Working with Inventory Management to ensure proper stock levels and service level goals are met

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree required
• Fluent Japanese speaking required
• Two years of previous experience with product management / marketing or sales is preferred
• Clinical background / previous healthcare experience is preferred
• Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skills required
• Excellent presentation skills for large and small groups
• Must have strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have a bias toward action and be results oriented
• Can build successful relationships with others
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Travel required 20% of the time
