We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service/Logistics Representative in Fountain Inn, SC. Outstanding opportunity – temp to perm position!
Job Description: Selected individual will be responsible for serving as primary customer contact for orders, questions and issues related to processing and delivery of manufactured products.
Pay Rate: $50K per year!
Shift/Hours: Mon – Fri
Job Requirements:
- Communicates with customers to meet and exceed their expectations/requirements for delivery, quantities, pricing, etc.
- Resolves product and service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of any problems; selecting
and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolutions.
- Works with the Scheduler/Planner to expedite in-process orders internally to assure customer satisfaction.
- Maintains customer purchase orders and purchase order files including entry into computer system with correct pricing.
- Processes customer updates as required.
- Performs contract reviews.
- Inputs RFQs, prepares finalized quotations.
- Communicates with department supervisors, management and shipping department to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintains customer files with proper documentation and adjustments/updates when necessary.
- Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
- Assists with Sales Team in marketing and prospecting.
- Adherence to Fisher Barton ISO-9001 Quality and Safety Policies as it pertains to job.
- Must be willing to go visit customers when necessary
- Achievement of defined goals and objectives.
- Education: High School Diploma /GED and 3-5 years customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with customers and colleagues.
- Capable of balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Works well with and can analyze problems effectively in a team environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
- Capable of learning, understanding and retaining knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Must be dependable, responsible and self-motivated.
- Monitor customer returns, complaints and feedback.
- Delivery performance.
