Job Description
We are currently seeking entry to mid-level Line Cooks, Cooks and Carvers to work in an up scale casino in Black Hawk, CO. The candidates must possess the following qualifications:
As a Cook you are responsible for all food preparation, to ensure meals meet or exceed hospitality and service standards.
Cook duties:
- Prepare all food to meet quantity and service schedule requirements.
- Handle food in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards.
- Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food production
- Able to follow a menu to prepare meals
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Competent in working in a fast paced high-end kitchen.
- Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a fast and consistent manner.
- Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure the total customer satisfaction.
- Able to structure workspace in a multi-functioning manner based on the needs for the day, predetermined at the beginning of each shift
REQUIREMENTS: You must be able to submit and pass an extensive background check and drug screen. You must also be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
