 As a Home Instead CAREGiver YOU:

• Can earn the highest starting agency employee wage for your NA-C

Requirements (for insurance purposes):

• Submit to DSHS & National Criminal Background checks on a routine basis
• Have a valid WA State Nurse Assistant Certification or Home Care Aide Certification
• Be 21 years of age or older (we encourage mature workers to apply)
• Provide a valid WA State Driver's License and Proof of Driver's Insurance
• Provide a Driving Abstract with 3 violations or less
• NO major driving violations within the last 3 years (ex: driv.w/ an invalid license)
• No DUI’s/DWI’s on record
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment, random and routine drug tests

Additional Requirements:

• Must have a clean, safe and reliable vehicle
• Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel & reach
• Request the applicant be available at minimum of 20 hours a week
• Ability to treat & care for clients and their property with dignity & respect
• Ability to adapt to various living environments & locations
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly & congenial manner
• Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew & cleaning solutions
