Pipe Fitters Job Description

• Reading, interpreting, and applying blueprints for performing work on ship board pipe systems

• Installing, maintaining, removing and inspecting piping and associated valves, hardware and hangers

• Performing calculations to determine and validate flow rates/volumes

• Validating temporary ventilation system meets trade standards and requirements

• Performing semi-skilled tasks such as debris removal and fastening air hose connections, electrical cables and flexible ventilation

Job Requirements

• Must have 4 years verifiable, relevant work experience

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

• Must pass a drug screen

• Reliable transportation required

• Must be able to work 1 st /2 nd shift

• Must have a current Security Clearance or Active Red Badge
