CONCIERGE - Marriott Raleigh City Center

Concierge is responsible for providing information to guests about hotel services, features and room amenities. A strong knowledge of the local area to assist guests with their inquiries is an essential requirement of this position; previous experience in similar position is preferred. The Concierge is responsible for: following up on inquiries; coordinating requests for special arrangements; escorting VIP's to their assigned guest rooms; and interacting with all guests in a courteous and efficient manner.


This position requires a Pre-Hire Assessment as part of the application process. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


1. Set up and maintain continental breakfast buffet, honor bar and hors d'oeuvres.


2. Provide information and assist guests concerning: restaurants, theater/musical productions, airlines, automobile, rental, transportation directions, office services, beauty/barber establishments, any other appropriate services and render the services of reservations for such.


3. Offer services of ticket agencies, limousine service, and tour guide organizations to guests.


4. Service each guest comment/complaint according to procedure.


5. Escort and service VIP guests.
