Room Service Worker - Marriott Raleigh City Center

Room Service Worker is responsible for: set up; deliveries; and retrieval of room service trays. An associate may be required to lift trays or push wheeled carts to deliver orders. To qualify for this position, one must be hospitable and demonstrate the ability to serve our guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Basic English language communication skills is required; and the ability to operate a keyboard to input room service orders may be a requirement of the position as well.

Set-up and deliver all food and beverage orders in accordance with established guidelines, procedures and policies as prescribed by IHC Standards.


2.Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays in order to maintain established sanitation guidelines.


3.Set-up and deliver all VIP amenities.


4.Service all hospitality suites in accordance with BEO and established policy and procedures.


5.Complete all shift sidework as outlined in the hotel's operating policies and procedures.


6.Respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales. Report all communications to immediate shift supervisor.


7.Perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with IHC policies and procedures.
