Assembler

Randstad is currently looking for an electrical assembler for a local client in the Howard County area. The client is within the manufacturing industry and supports a variety of government projects. The company designs a range of products and is looking to extend their assembly team. Applicants interested must have experience in wiring, color codes, and experience using small hand tools. Must have the ability to work from manufacturing schematics, drawings, and sketches provided verbally as well. This position is a long term contract position with a strong opportunity to go permanent with the client!

*Daily job duties including, but not limited to:
-Assembling small to medium manufacturing parts
-Light mechanical assembly
-Wiring

*Pay Rate: $11-13 per hour

*Temporary to Permanent

*Hours: 9am-5pm; Monday - Friday

*Columbia, MD

Working hours: 1st shift

*Experience Requirements:
- Must be able to submit to a background check and Drug Screen
-Minimum of at 3 years electrical assembly experience
-Must have previous job experience within the manufacturing environment
-Excellent Team Work Skills
-Ability to operate in a small company environment
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs
-Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
-Must have reliable transportation, as none of our positions are bus accessible
