Must be able to work at least 4 shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.

Summary: Ponte Vineyard Inn currently seeks a Server to join our fine dining establishment team at the Bouquet Restaurant. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, detail oriented and have a passion for giving guests an exceptional experience. This position is attentive to our guests needs and serves food and beverage items in a fine dining atmosphere according to order. The Server provides exceptional service to our guests at all times. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Server (100%) • To ensure guest satisfaction and profitability is maximized at every opportunity. • To uphold professional standards of excellence and set an example to all other associates at all times. • Acting as a service ambassador to the winery, building relationships and generating repeat business. • Check in with the Manager at the start of each shift. • Anticipate business levels for each shift. • Always have higher expectations for service levels. • Deliver food and beverages ensuring timely, consistent and quality food. • Pre bus tables between courses. • Be willing to assist fellow servers and bussers as needed. • Thank the guest for coming in and invite the to return. • Promote the Restaurants at Ponte Winery and Ponte Vineyard Inn. • Up selling of products including Ponte wines. • Be aware of other promotions and events that are going on at Ponte Winery. • Trained to work all Front of House operations of Food and Beverage at the hotel. • Have the required tools to do the job for that day, such as order pad, pen and wine-key. • Complete paperwork correctly after the end of every shift • Understand and adhere to environmental standards set by the hotel. • To be able to work well under pressure and to complete all assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner. • To maintain a clean work environment and uphold all Health and Safety Regulations. • Always have higher expectations for service levels. • Be confident in taking the lead in any guest issues that may arise during your shift and communicate these to your Manager immediately. • Set the example of excellence in standards to other Associates at all times. • Ensure that all duties are carried out before the end of shift. • Assist fellow Associates with additional job duties as business dictates and is required. • Understands and adheres to the Ponte values and service standards. Job Requirements: Education and Experience • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) • Minimum of 1-2 years of fine dining experience, serving guests. • Speaks English fluently. Skills • Excellent communication skills • Has attention to detail and the ability to follow direction and abide by standard operating procedures. • Ability to focus for an entire shift, trouble shooting and prioritizing skills. Knowledge • Hospitality/Food and Beverage industry background and experience.
