This position will sit in our Communications Solutions business unit. This business unit provides technologies that help businesses of all sizes better communicate. We offer a full range of meters, digital color printers, inserters and sorters that enable the creation of high-impact, color customer communications, including bills, statements, marketing offers and compliance documents. Our shipping solutions serve mail centers to production shipping. We provide digital solutions so organizations can create the right relations with the right customers.

We are currently seeking a Sales Performance Coach. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be located in ourSpokane, WAlocation.

Theobjective of this position is to monitor calls for coaching purposes and provide side-by-side feedback and through other various forms to internal call center Sales Professionals located in various North American and International locations in order to achieve a higher level of sales performance. This position will also be responsible for design and delivery of various training material for sales call centers, including new hire sales training. The Sales Coach will work to consistently improve the overall performance, productivity, and engagement of the sales team and to increase productivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with sales supervisors and manager to develop and implement sales training/coaching programs for sales professionals in our call center.
  • Train and coach sales professionalsselling supplies to clients over the phone.
  • Monitor and coach to standards, metrics, performance criteria, policies and procedures in order to continuously improve call center productivity and performance.
  • Provide in-depth one on one coaching and training to optimize sales performance.
  • Side by side coaching on the sales floor and through various other technological methods, as well as real time call monitoring.
  • Help improve deficiencies and build on the strengths of individual performers.
  • Assist in developing efficient sales processes/flows and training processes.
  • Understand sales methodologies, marketing campaigns and bundling options to assist agents with closing sales.
  • Assist supervisors in designing and leveraging incentive activities to maximize sales performance.
  • Take direction from the call center supervisors and manager on where to focus coaching/training.
  • Development, facilitation, and presentation of training material as necessary
  • Apply interpersonal communication techniques to help facilitate coaching.
  • Work a flexible schedule with possible travel up to 40-50%.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably Master's Degree in a related field, along with a required with 1-4 years related experience and/or training.
  • Understanding of sales systems and/or procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of sales methodologies and policies.
  • Demonstrated success in sales training program development and implementation (needs assessment, curriculum design and strong facilitation skills).
  • Proven ability in building credibility as an internal business partner.
  • Ability to learn new products and technology quickly.
  • A well-developed knowledge of adult learning theories.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook.
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop, lead and motivate an aggressive sales force.
  • Must have a proven record of managing a successful sales team.
  • Proficient, confident, and capable in performing presentations.
