Quality Control - Full-time / Part-time

Quality Control Inspector/Rewind Operator needed.

Duties:

• Inspect printed products and pulls defective labels from press rolls.
• Set up and operate product rewind machine and makes finished rolls or packages according to customer specifications.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; preferably 3 years related flexographic press experience and/or successful completion of company training program; or equivalent of experience and training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Must be able to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; will be able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Must be capable of applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Will be required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to perform work schedule.
• Will be exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles; the noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• 3 rd shift, 4:30PM – 5:00AM; will alternate 3 nights one week, 4 nights the next week.
• $10.60 – 13/hr., based on experience.
