Executive Director – Illinois

 

Exciting State Operational Leader for Complex Population Management. Leads multi-faceted Care Delivery teams that deliver care for both High Risk Community populations and Institutional populations through our innovative Nurse Practioner Model of Care. This Executive will be responsible for current 3 contracts with over 2500 members by the end of 2014 and growing in 2015 to well over 6000 potnetial Complex members. This leader will manage teams of Nurse Practioner's through a Director of Clincial Operations as a Direct Report with Administrative Support and Provider Relations teams also reporting to this position.
The P&L responsibilities for this role include managing a revenue stream of well over 13 million in annual revenue and margin of over 1.5 million annually

As an Executive Director, you will have total program responsibility which includes directly supervising the Medical Director, Clinical Managers, Sales, Operations and Administrative staff.

Positions in this function are responsible for overseeing and participating in day to day clinical care of patients. Employees are

involved in direct patient care (in a clinic, in-home care, etc.)

Positions in this function include those responsible for planning and directing all aspects of a site, state or region's operational

policies, objectives, and initiatives. Responsibilities include day to day site operations, network negotiations, management

leadership internal and external to organization, accountable for financial and non-financial results (budgets and actual). Manages

the P&L of a site, state or multiple states. Manage daily operations of multiple levels of staff and multiple functions/departments

across one or more sites. Project management and implementation related to Health Plans, ISNP or Hospice programs

Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff.

Impact of work is most often at the operational or local business unit or market level.

Owns an end to end process.

Develops functional, market level, and/or site strategy, plans, production and/or organizational priorities.

Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems outside own team.

Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact entire functions and/or customer accounts (internal or external).

 

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business or health. MBA preferred
3+ years of experience in General Management and or Operations Management required
3+ years of experience managing a P&L required
3+years of experience in healthcare required
Ability to relate to superior, peers and subordinates.
Demonstrated leadership and proven ability to lead, motivate and organize teams.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning & business development. Knowledge of healthcare polices and reimbursement practices.
Demonstrated ability to build the business.
