Description

This position is responsible to work with a diverse team of IT professionals to engineer contact center voice systems and solutions.  Collaborate with business partners and IT peers to understand, refine, and influence business requirements.  Perform analysis efforts to determine cost, quality, and delivery expectations of a solution.   Development of designs based on sound engineering principles specific to large scale contact center operations.  Define detailed bill of materials for new systems and major upgrades.  Work with implementation and support organizations to ensure business and technical requirement of infrastructure designs are met.  Ensure compliance with enterprise policies and standards.  Maintain awareness of technology and business trends in the contact center and communications industries. 

 

 

Job Scope

- Infrastructure voice engineer for call processing platforms in the contact center including ACD's, session border controllers, session managers, voice gateways, voice recording, dialers, and voice applications.

- Design and implement contact center infrastructures and solutions.
- Travel of approx. 10% annually includes meeting with business, IT teams, and vendor partners.

Requirements

- 3+ years' experience working on contact center infrastructures. 

- Demonstrated expertise in the use of proven methodologies and design processes to engineer robust voice systems and deployments. 

- Experience in SIP, VoIP, computer telephony integration, call signaling and routing, call session management platforms, and host integration techniques required.
