Positions in this function work in the Analysis phase of the System Development cycle and consult with users to evaluate business requirements, identify operating procedures, evaluate existing or proposed systems and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. This function also is intended to include those that also may define business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Solid Organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent Analytical, Problem solving and Troubleshooting abilities.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

  • Provide accurate and timely estimates for tasks

  • Provide support and leadership in critical production support issue resolution.

  • Support the team for application availability, reliability and stability on a 7 x 24 x 365 basis.

  • Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan.

  • Work with team and vendor to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements.

  • Conduct code review to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high quality standards.

  • Work with business to prioritize production issue resolution.

  • Work with the Service Manager in process improvement initiatives as directed by the Service Manager.

  • Review the work of others.

  • Develop innovative approaches.

  • Sought out as expert.

  • Serve as a leader/ mentor.

  • Coordinate with offshore team.

Requirements

Requirements:




  • Bachelor's Degree.


  • 5+ years of .NET experience.


  • 5+ years of SQL experience on Microsoft SQL server.


  • 5+ years of System Analysis/Development experience.


  • Understanding of data gathering/analysis.


  • Knowledge of the Software/System Development life cycle.

Assets:



  • Healthcare Industry experience.

  • Production Support experience.

  • SSIS Package Development experience.

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience.

  • Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) experience.
