Join the UnitedHealthcare Military & Veterans Access to Data team as a Senior Report Developer/Analyst. Use your data analysis and development skills to work with TRICARE West Government users, internal operations, and other Access to Data team members to design, develop, program, maintain and publish queries and reports. You must be self-directed and creative to deal with some interesting and complex problems. As a key resource to others, you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to meet deadlines. This position reports to the Manager - Analytics and Reporting.



Primary Responsibilities:

•  Produce complex 'ad-hoc' queries and reports requested by internal and external customers using SQL and SSRS


•  Design and develop data extracts from source SQL databases to meet analytics and reporting requests


•  Develop detailed test conditions and test cases to ensure quality of queries and reports


•  Support Government and UHC M&V Access to Data users


•  Research and troubleshoot data questions


•  Collaborate on problem resolution, team decisions and project planning


•  Monitor plan dates and meet individual deliverables as well as support other team members to ensure project success


•  Serve as senior analysis resource for team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of data analysis experience using an industry standard tool


• Minimum of 3 years SQL query writing


• Minimum of 2 years of report development experience using SSRS or business objects


• Undergraduate degree or equivalent career experience

Assets:

• Minimum of two years of SSIS ETL experience


• Previous Healthcare industry experience


• Experience with software development lifecycle management (i.e. Business Requirements, Technical Documentation, Quality Assurance)


• BA/BS in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or a related field
