Project Controls Site Analyst - Full-time / Part-time

Basic Job Functions: Tracks accurate cost data against planned expenditures to support Project Controller in development of work breakdown structure, , measurement and progress reporting for all aspects of EPC Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant projects including expenditures and reporting trends. Reports to Project Controller. Also supports Project Scheduler. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Performs cost estimating, analysis, and control activities, as directed. Analyzes schedule progress and performance to identify developing problem areas, Prepares short-term look ahead schedules and leads the update in routine progress reporting Reviews Omnibus Log for accuracy and to ensure work performed percentage complete is in alignment with PMV percentage complete, as applicable. Due 1st business day of the month. Helps with Customer invoicing as directed. Tracks self-perform labor, costs and installation, unit rates - weekly Helps close POs as directed Analyze/tracks PO expenditures vs. the quote for services and proposes PO increases as necessary (see spreadsheet) as needed Maintains spreadsheet for planned PMV goals vs. accomplishments, remaining to install Tracks site specific requirements as directed (ex. DSL flood costs) Work with Site to track current and future equipment needs trailers, carts, generators, post machines, resistors as needed Notifies Project Controller of site issues that have a potential of impacting either cost or schedule 10x5 Update to PC Experience: 3-4 years experience. Previous planning experience required. Previous experience in project and engineering planning desired.
