Manpower is currently recruiting for a local company that needs a full time Weatherization Specialist. Primary duties include installation of weatherization materials in accordance with the State Weatherization Operations Manual and as outlined on the State of Idaho Weatherization Assistance Program Job Order Sheet. This is a temp to permanent opportunity with an hourly pay of $11.83. DUTIES: Install weatherization materials in compliance with retrofitting standards and assist in setting up equipment for required testing; assist in maintaining on-site inventory of materials and equipment required to perform jobs; complete appropriate forms for recording purposes, including job time and material inventory sheets as required; assist in day to day warehouse duties, receiving and storing materials, cleaning trucks and warehouse and other duties as required. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Any combination of education and experience providing required knowledge and skills is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: Education/Skills: 1) Sufficient formal or informal education to assure the ability to read and write English and compute accurate business math at a level required for successful job performance. 2) Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and participants. 3) Ability to perform jobs that require moderate amounts of physical dexterity, lift 40+ pounds, and tolerate exposure to inclement weather and minor physical challenges. Experience: 1)One year experience in the field of construction preferable, including experience in residential retrofits and/or general repair work on buildings.
