Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse - (Cardio - OR - CVOR RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D, 10 D Pay Rate: $33.21 *
Featuring advanced technology in addition to compassionate care, this esteemed Operating Room (CVOR) unit is looking to welcome a new member to its nursing team. Innovative care teams deliver optimal care to their patients at this cutting edge facility. You can expect to work on complex cases with a driven team of passionate Operating Room (CVOR) professionals, utilizing the best patient care models.
Cardiovascular operating room nurses (CVOR RNs) work as part of Surgical Services/OR, a specialized area that treats only open-heart (cardiovascular) patients. The CVOR RN works in cardiovascular operating rooms. CVOR RNs also perform cardiovascular patient care, clinical problem solving, quality monitoring, and coordination of care for the CVOR.
Required Qualifications
Active GA License
Experience in Cardiac
BLS
ACLS
The unit is a moderate volume(650 cases/yr) adult cardiac surgery program that performs all cardiac procedures with the exception of heart transplants and implantable VADs.
