Speech & Language Pathologist - Long-term Acute Care - (SLP)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $39.00-41.50 *
Unique facility is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Speech Language Pathologist to join the team. Therapist will treat an adult population with intellectual and physical disabilities. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.
Speech/language pathologists work with patients who are suffering from, or are prone to, disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. In order to address patients’ needs, the speech/language pathologist develops individualized plans that take into account the patient’s needs, progress, and eventual discharge plans. They may also work in a number of specialties, including:
Required Qualifications
-MUST HAVE AAC and Comprehensive Assessment experience. Acute, Rehab and SNF exp preferred.
-Pediatric experience is not preferred at this location--needs more medical experience
-Must be TX licensed and have their C's
