Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D, 12 N Pay Rate: $31.10 *
This facility is looking for RN with current California license with recent travel experience in L&D. This family birth center is a 13 bed LDRP unit and will average about 105 births per month. Also in the unit is a level 2 nursery, 2 OR suites and a 2 bed PACU. This is a great baby friendly faciltiy looking for RNs to share in the experience of providing care to expecting mothers. Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
Required Qualifications
1. 3 years LDRP
2. CA license (active)
3. Previous travel epxerience
4. NRP, ACLS, BLS

Since its inception in 1934, this nonprofit acute-care hospital has grown and evolved in direct response to the changing healthcare needs of the people it serves in Monterey, California and the surrounding region. This facility features 207 staffed acute-care hospital beds and 28 skilled-nursing beds. Delivering a continuum of care from birth to end of life, experienced healthcare professionals provide such care as behavioral health, family birth and lactation services, sleep disorder, and a stroke services.
