About this job

Right at Home is looking for a smart, flexible after hours person to handle all evening and weekend calls.  This person must have experience in the medical field, preferably in home health scheduling caregivers to work with clients in the home.

The After Hours Client Care Coordinator handles all calls from 5:00 pm to 8:30 am Monday through Thursday, and from 5:00 pm Friday evening to 8:00 am Monday morning.  The Coordinator ensures that all scheduling and coordination of caregivers to clients is completed in an accurate, detailed manner and properly handled.  He or she will document all details of scheduling, employee and client activity in our office software tracking system.  May also perform various activities for timecard processing, monitoring the telephony system and other scheduling responsibilities or office coordination duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent, with minimum of two years office experience in a medical or healthcare environment. 
  • Able to demonstrate advanced office and computer skills and organizational abilities, previous experience with scheduling software preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communicatiions and interactive skills
  • Advanced, detailed telephone and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of common medical terminology
  • Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgement in decision making
  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Some experience working with and communicating for the special needs of senior clients
  • Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours
  • CNA or LPN experience preferred
