Outpatient clinic nurses typically work in a physician’s office and are responsible for a number of routine tasks, including:

• Prepare patient for examination and/or medical tests
• Review and administer medication
• Assist with minor outpatient surgery and/or other treatments
• Maintain medical records
• Perform lab tests
