This unit is looking for an experienced and well regarded PostP RN to join their dynamic team of care givers..
This position presents an opportunity to join an elite team of passionate physicians and nurses within the Labor delivery (LD). You'll find a challenging and rewarding environment where patient care is firmly rooted in compassion, innovation, and a drive for great outcomes. This highly esteemed facility welcomes creative, energetic caregivers.
Postpartum nurses are responsible for caring for both moms and their newborns after delivery. The postpartum care nurse plays a crucial role in the hours following delivery, monitoring mothers and helping to ensure proper recovery. Postpartum RNs must recognize postpartum depression and teach new moms how to address emotions, while also acting as a teacher for the new parents and usually giving instructions on how to care, bathe, breastfeed and/or bottle-feed the newborn and monitor his or her health.
