The Time Warner Cable Internship Program offers students a work experience which will create a bridge between their classroom knowledge and possible career choices. This opportunity will allow you to gain valuable professional experience within an industry leading company.
The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Digital Marketing Intern (Design) for our Business Services Digital Marketing group. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work closely with UI Designers and Visual Design lead to develop front-end design components for website implementation
- Participate in code reviews and implementation discussions, and contribute to development of new web-based features and interfaces
- Author creative and content components into CMS to create compelling site pages
- Actively participate in brainstorming and solution generation
- Provide back up to marketing design needs and full Digital Marketing team on an ad hoc basis
- Translate complex user tasks/behaviors and data visualizations into engaging, intuitive interfaces
Job Requirements:
- Must have strong design eye and capability for meeting high aesthetic quality
- Demonstrates understanding of branding & marketing strategies
- Should have strong IT/networking background or knowledge
- Must have strong written and verbal skills; be well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments
- Willingness to learn custom systems and share knowledge and expertise with others.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, Snagit, Acrobat, InDesign, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Experience working in complex CMS systems a big plus.
Education and Experience:
- Must be currently enrolled in a degreed program in the Spring 2014 semester to be eligible.
- Interns must be entering their junior or senior year with major focus in digital media, graphic design, interaction design, content marketing, or other related field
Our 10 week program begins June 2nd and ends August 8th. **This is a full time (40 hour work week) paid internship. ***Please note we do not provide housing.
