The Consumer Acquisition Platform Product & Implementation Architect plays a general solution architect role for Optum's Consumer Acquisition Platform. The Product & Implementation Architect works with CAP leadership and stakeholders to support the development of a product strategy for CAP assets, and then works with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver the CAP solution to achieve customer business goals and requirements. The CAP Product & Implementation Architect consults in the creation and management of ongoing support processes for customers.

Specific CAP Job duties:

Sales Consultation and Engineering - Supports the sales pipeline by engaging with prospective customers, showcasing the CAP platform, engaging with business and technical resources to discuss implementation, and accountable for communicating customer business goals to internal Optum & UHG staff.



Implementation - Supports the delivery of the CAP platform to customers by supporting scoping & planning, overseeing development of business requirements, documenting business processes, coordinating design across Optum & client technology teams, and providing overall business and technical direction to project manager. Engages with business stakeholders to identify unique training and operations needs.

Operations - Provides consultation & feedback to support teams. Assists in the design and implementation of client-specific support structures.

Product Design - Collects customer and stakeholder feedback to identify enhancement opportunities. Coordinates with CAP Product Management team to incorporate CAP requests into enhancement processes. Assists with architectural design across CAP components.

Requirements



  • Undergraduate degree in health administration or other healthcare field a plus


  • 5+ years of healthcare consulting experience.


  • 5+ years Sales, Marketing, Underwriting, or Health & Benefit background


  • 5+ years experience evaluating healthcare program outcomes and performance measurement.


  • 5+ years of full life cycle project management experience


  • 5+ years experience developing implementation plans


  • Expert level of proficiency with health care claims and membership data.


  • Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office Products including Excel, Access, and Visio 


  • Strong ability to lead initiatives with minimal guidance.


  • Ability to organize work effectively and efficiently.


  • Ability to work on multiple projects.
