Primary job responsibilities include:

 

*  Design and manage models leveraged for initiative planning to achieve payment integrity savings targets; work directly with Payment Integrity leaders and support staff on initiative planning

*  Translate savings planning information into data format for financial forecasts and work with FP&A team on the same

*  Forecast company sister segment fees; interface directly with sister segment partners

*  Monitor monthly sister segment spend reports and perform variance analyses vs. budget/forecast

*  Perform various monthly Payment Integrity affordability reporting activities

*  Lead other ad hoc reporting projects and improvements/enhancements to existing reporting

*  Track project implementation and actual savings realized; determine annual carryover impacts

*  Cost-benefit analyses (CBAs) and financial benefit validation for Payment Integrity projects

*  Ongoing ROI analyses on C&S Payment Integrity programs comparing savings to corresponding fees

*  Design reported savings validation methodologies and perform validation

*  Present reporting and analysis results to finance leaders and internal staff; synthesize messages that can be translated into action

*  Prioritize and organize work to meet critical deadlines

Requirements

Required:

 

*  Bachelor's degree in Finance or Health Administration, or equivalent experience in one of these areas preferred

*  3+ years of healthcare, insurance or finance industry experience

*  3+ years of experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting

*  A background collecting data using different sources

*  Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

*  Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

* Advanced Excel skills with proven ability to manage large amounts of data (pivot tables, vlooksups)

*  Self-motivated to prioritize work on multiple complex assignments

*  Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision

*  Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills

*  Ability to meet deadlines

 

 

Preferred:

 

*  Experience working in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment

*  Experience working with MS Access

*  Healthcare Economics experience with knowledge of claims systems, benefits, etc.

*  Solid understanding and knowledge of medical claims data

*  Experience working cross functionally

*  Experience working for a large company
