The Senior Developer will participate in the development of backend .NET applications used in the medical field. The position requires previous experience building leading-edge user interfaces and backend applications. The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong design and implementation skills, the ability to innovate and the deployment of a commercially viable product. Work will be in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment that requires the ability to learn quickly and work both independently and collaboratively. 

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software engineering foundations, such as memory management and low level performance

  • Strong experience designing and working n-tier architectures, including software as a service (SAAS)

  • Experience & Proficiency in writing and tuning SQL Server 2008/2012 stored procedures

  • Maintain secure systems by following current HIPAA standards

  • Design, develop and maintain high performance and scalable .NET applications

  • Lead software development projects that provide new or enhanced functionality for both internal and external customers

  • Training and mentorship of other technical personnel, providing feedback on code architecture, programming techniques and coding and unit code testing

  • Works with program management, QA and customer support groups

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar

  • Five or  more years of client server development in .NET

  • Strong programming skills in object-oriented and Web development

  • WCF Web  and/or Windows Services

  • Experience with XML

  • Experience with multiple programming languages such as C#, WPF, SQL

  • Experience & Proficiency in writing and tuning SQL Server 2008/2012 stored procedures

Assets:



  • Experience with  XSLT

  • Experience with multi-threaded applications
