Accounting Manager - Eden Prairie - Full-time / Part-time

As a key member of the Finance team in a growing organization, this position will:

Maintain oversight of general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports.

Analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close.

Review journal entries and accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles.

Analyze and prepare financial statements.

Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits.

Assist in purchase accounting and financial integration for acquired entities.

Develop, implement and maintain processes and procedures for accurate and timely analysis of financial data.

Manage and develop team members.

Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, public accounting experience a plus

5+ years of accounting and/or audit experience required

CPA certification preferred

2+ years of supervisory experience preferred

Intermediate level of working knowledge of GAAP

Strong MS Excel skills

Advanced analytical and information gathering skills, with ability to evaluate and prioritize extensive detailed data

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail

PeopleSoft Financial experience preferred

Hyperion Essbase experience a plus
