Aerotek is looking to employ a Mechanical Drafter for a growing manufacturing firm in the Epharta, PA area. Our client is currently looking for experienced drafters with a minimum of 2 years in the field. Prior experience with AutoCAD and Solidworks are a must. Experience with reading blueprints, schedules, openings, and dimensioning are also key components to succeed in this position. They will be mechanical fixtures and components for commercial industrial buildings. A few of the qualifications are listed below:
-Create 2D AND 3D shop drawings for complete packages, assemblies and components
-Modify and customize submittal drawings
-Detail tolerances for interference and stack-up in production situations
-Create and detail custom modifications or variations to existing standard products
-Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
-Communicate changes, special instructions and other details to production floor
-Experience with Autocad and Solidworks
-Ability to size components, parts, assemblies
