The Time Warner Cable currently seeks In Home Quality Assurance Rep for our Austin Texas location. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Utilizes consultative approach with current Time Warner Cable customers in their homes in an effort to present the value of their current TWC products and services and to highlight additional functionality of their services, such as free Apps, access to Hot Spots for wireless connectivity etc.
2. At visit to home, conducts a quality check of internal and external wires, inspecting for any issues which may be causing service related issues. Works with Technical Team partners to coordinate getting any technical issues addressed by the appropriate team.
3. Provides customers information on their products, assistance with programming remotes and ancillary items such as new remotes, batteries and updated equipment when applicable.
4. Becomes an advocate for the customers which they have interacted, responds to customer concerns in a professional manner, resolves outstanding issues in a timely and effective manner, in accordance with process guidelines.
5. Document customer interactions, and provide accurate information to support personnel.
6. Project professionalism and work cooperatively with team members and management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous customer service, customer advocacy and problem solving skills are a plus.
- Previous field experience is a plus.- Technical aptitude or working knowledge of cable, internet / modem, and Wi-Fi.
- Must demonstrate strong oral communication skills.
- Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends, due to business need and be willing to travel within TWC footprint of Austin for training, meetings and for assigned work areas.
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization required.- Professional appearance conducive to an office and field environment required.- Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge, along with the ability to work in a team environment is required.
- Must have a valid Driver ' s license and full access to an Automobile to use for business purposes.
