Job Description: - Commercial/ Residential Solar Installation Projects
- Wiring Conduit into Solar Invertors, working along the Senior Mechanic
- Good communication skills and professional presentation
- Experience with complicated main service installation jobs a plus
- Prior solar labor experience good but not necessary.
- Position will work w/ full Crew of 4 on assigned commercial and residential projects.
Relevent Industry Experience
-HVAC Installation
-Alarm System Installation
-Solar Installation
-Any Electrical system installation in a commerical facility
COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE A MUST
Work Environment: 50% Commercial/ 50% Residential projects.
Crews meet at the Southampton, NY office (east Long Island) at 7:30am, go out as a team to assigned projects for the day.
Solar Construction environment. Position is 100% Field
Qualifications: - No certifications
- No Degree Necessary
- Commercial experience as a mechanic/ electrician is a must
- Electrical experience is STRONGLY preferred.
- Formal training as a mechanic/ electrician is plus
- NABCEP or any certs are a big plus (not a requirment)
- 1-2+ years relevant experience
Performance Expectations:
Need someone who comes in and takes an active role in learning the solar industry. This will cut down on the learning curve and they can become acclimated to the culture immediately.
someone who wants to pitch is an observe/learn will be a great candidate. Helping load, unload trucks on a day to day basis.. Just being open to doing light General labor is the most important part of this job.

2. Positive Attitude
3. Being Serious about doing a good job & Safety
Interview is to screen Technical Skill Sets in Construction, and reliability
Additional Compensation: 40/hrs a week.
Possibility for some OT, 1.5X OT
Need Electrical experience.
