The Business Development Representative is responsible for growing the Markets diverse client base by building new business relationships and expanding sales within existing customers by utilizing the “consultative sales process.”

What you'll do:
- Maintain relationships and pursues increased sales with current customers through appointment setting and aggressive cold-calling.
- Produce weekly qualified leads for Market staff to follow-up.
- Remain connected with local trade organizations and attend monthly/quarterly meetings to find and attract customer prospects.
- Work cooperatively with the Service team to service accounts.
- Visit customer job sites to ensure adherence to the company's safety program and confirm that dispatched associates have arrived.
- Communicate internally to share customer needs, and supports Operations and Recruiting activities as needed to ensure customer requests are fulfilled.
- Conduct quarterly meetings with key customers to review business performance.
What you bring to the table:
- 2 years outside, business-to-business sales experience.
- Knowledge of staffing industry preferred.
- Knowledge of construction industry preferred.
- Prior experience with phone sales, appointment setting and face-to-face cold calling.
- Understanding of basic consultative sales process.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and ability to persuade an audience.
- Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.
- Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Valid driver's license and a car that can be used for work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
