Aerotek Inc. is currently partnered with a manufacturing company in Auburn, WA who provides CNC Machining, Sheet Metal Fabrication and Assembly to various industries. We are currently hiring a Lean Engineer for this client. We are seeking a candidate who has 3+ years of direct Lean Manufacturing experience by implementing process improvements to quantify results. Must have direct experience with Kaizen events, Toyota Production Systems, 5S, and Project Management.
- Planning and developing LEAN projects to meet business requirements
- Establishing written LEAN project plans including measurement systems to provide evidence of savings and/or improvements in production costs, takt time, floor space, inventory, process time, etc
- Establish team structure including shop and office personnel to participate in LEAN projects in collaboration with department managers and supervisors
- Establish and communicating LEAN project schedule
- Provide formal and ad-hoc LEAN training to LEAN project participants as needed
- Facilitating, leading, driving and manage LEAN projects / Continuous Improvement projects
- Using appropriate LEAN / Six Sigma tools and techniques to facilitate and support each LEAN / Continuous Improvement project
- Establishing and adjusting work assignments to meet production schedules, using knowledge of capacities of machines and equipment, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems and reporting results
- Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Monitoring and evaluating performance of team members and associates through constructive feedback
- Maintaining open communications and promote an issue free environment
- Develop and present LEAN project reports
- Maintain LEAN project pipeline
- Provide LEAN Project final reports to senior staff

3+ Years of Direct Lean work experience, Toyota Production Sytems, Experience must demonstrate improvements and quantify results, Ability to analyze data, Strong communication skills are a must, Ability to train individuals and co workers
