Aerotek E&E is looking for an experienced Mechanical Drafter to work for us in the Memphis, TN area.
The Mechanical Drafter will be responsible for assisting Engineers and higher-level designers with the design and modification of HVAC drawings in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Duties will include:
- Developing preliminary sketches or schematics, layouts, details, and/or drawings of Commercial and Industrial HVAC systems.
- Typical systems designed at this level are HVAC load calculations, duct and air distribution, as well as piping layout.
- Translating technical guidance received from supervisor into usable data applicable to the particular assignments.
Qualifications:
- A.S. in CAD/Engineering Technology
- 2+ years of Mechanical HVAC/MEP drafting experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required; REVIT MEP experience a plus
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering Documents
