About this job
Our client is looking for an Emergency Medical Technician to help assist with their emergency room department.
ED technicians will support 2 Nurses each shift and will be responsible for tending to 8 patients at a time.
Job duties will include: chest compressions, stat EKG’s, vital signs, rounding, transporting patients to different departments, stocking trays and carts, and charting.
Requirements:
Candidates with 1 plus year of acute care experience.
Ability to manage up to 150-170 patients per day.
Candidates need to be able to think on their feet. Also need to be extremely flexible with scheduling availability.
EMT cert/license; CPT 1 license, and BLCS.
High School Diploma.
2 years of experience preferred.
