The Role:
The Sales Center Director will develop and Implement banking strategies for the Capital One 360 Sales Centers. This individual will oversee sales and service; expense, operations, and credit controls; community leadership; human resource management; and meeting financial and compliance standards. In addition, the Sales Center Director will be responsible for developing short and long-term strategic planning goals for the Sales line of business.

Responsibilities:
- Lead/Manage the current Capital One 360 sales center, including inbound sales, service and escalations
- Support the Sales Center evolution including associate growth, strategic change and new product launches
- Lead, inspire and develop a high quality/high talent sales team that enables operational excellence that is aligned to the strategic and future needs of the business
- Manage the Sales Center Coaches including their career development, performance management and recognition
- Develop, implement and lead sales strategies within the Capital One 360 line of business
- Role model Excellence and Do the Right Thing while supporting sales based change management efforts
- Strive, and encourage team members to strive for continuous improvement in everything they do, even in the face of obstacles
- Assist in solution management dedicated to providing a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and maintaining high team morale
- Ensure staffing levels are in accordance with the Sales Center Capacity Plan
- Deliver quality performance of the Sales team and focus on maximizing account acquisition opportunities
- Assist in solution management dedicated to providing a positive work environment, -- Deliver on sales volumes and revenue targets
- Champion a customer centric culture across the organization
- Ownership for service levels and operational excellence in Sales line of business
- Manage risk and compliance for the Sales Center
- Manage day-to-day sales efforts and efficiencies within the Sales Center
- Take ownership for service levels, budget, and operational excellence

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- 5 or more years of experience in people management and leadership
- 5 or more years of banking and/or sales experience

Preferred Qualifications
- 5 or more years of Call Center management experience
- 5 or more years of experience in leading and managing large teams of 200+ associates
- 3 or more years of experience in banking operations
- Very strong quantitative and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive results, build relationships, and influence senior executives
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across different functional areas (e.g. Finance, Analysis, Operations, etc.)
- Ability to focus on increasing performance while maintaining a great associate environment
- Ability to execute on high level strategy, while also involved in day to day detail
