Spartan is currently hiring entry level production and packaging associates in the Stillwater,MN area for a major food manufacturer.
Job Duties may include:
o Batch Production
The Batcher will be producing a variety of different colors of the final product called fondant. The batch production method requires that a group of raw materials move through the production process together, a stage at a time. Employees will be batching a variety of raw materials to make the final product of fondant. Responsibilities include; ensuring raw materials are stored to meet safe quality food standards, sufficiently stocked, well organized and clean. Employees will be checking machines to ensure that they are working properly, handling product from a conveyor belt, packing final product, and shrink wrapping containers of fondant to be labeled.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates should have the following to register:
Must follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) – no jewelry, watches, rings, visible piercings, nothing in pockets/mouth, frequent hand washing, etc.
Hair net, gloves, and lab coat worn at all times
Proper Identification proving eligibility to work in the US
Prior experience in a production/manufacturing/industrial/construction/customer service environment is a plus
Willingness and ability to learn new task quickly
Values a team work environment and have an up beat personality and self motivated
Excellent attendance required, dependable, trustworthy, strong work ethic, respects authority
Physically, able to stand, walk, bend and lift 50 lbs repeatedly during a shift, with a can do attitude in an fast paced environment
Must follow safety regulations and wear proper safety equipment as job demands
Willing to submit to a drug screen, when required
Ideal Candidates

Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $10.10 per hour
Shifts: 1st and 2nd shifts available Mon - Thurs OT on Friday,
6:30 am to 4:30 pm and 4:30 pm to 3 am
also part time and on call positions available.
