Job Description: Selected individuals will be responsible for lifting skids of 200 pounds shared with a partner. This lifting is preformed repeatedly for the entire 8 hour shift.



Pay Rate: $11.00/hour!

Shift/Hours: Full-time; Monday through Friday; Will train on 1 st ; 5:45 am-2:30 pm. Should be willing to train on 1 st and then go to either 2 nd shift 2:00pm-10:00pm; or 3 rd 10pm – 6am.



Requirements:

• Must be able to lift very heavy loads in a fast-past production environment.
• Ability to lift at least 150 pounds safely.
• Must be able stand for long periods of time, and be able to reach, and do a lot of bending over and lifting.
• Prepare skids for packing by flipping over and adding paper to each one.
• Packing involves using a banding tool, strap, paper, and edge protection.
• Must keep the area clean and materials supplied to keep up with production.
• Must keep the operators supplied with banding supplies.
• Assist operators by re-strapping the metal coils that are being stocked.
• Communicate with the crane and machine operators.
• Must wear safety equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, armguards, and metatarsal boots.)

Special Skills/Qualifications Needed:

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 months heavy lifting and manual labor experience is required.
• 1-2 years Overhead Crane operation experience.
