We are currently hiring entry level and experienced Hatebur Operators in the Savanna, IL area for a major automotive parts manufacturer!
Your shift and pay for the Hatebur Operator will be:
1st Shift:$12.39
2nd Shift:$13.39
Monday – Friday, possibly overtime and weekends
Temporary to Hire Positions
As a Hatebur Operator you will be:
- Setting up and Operating Hatebur hot nut-forming machines, based on specifications and tooling instructions
- Primarily Operates Amp 20 or 30 machines
- Operates Hydraulic Press to assemble die packs
- Changing feedrollers, shearing and steel
- Checks finished product with appropriate measures, including micrometers, calipers, scales, plug gauges, dial indicators, and concentricity gauges Assisting Maintenance Department in basic repairs.
In this Hatebur Operator role you should have:
- Ability to lift 50lbs to 100lbs throughout shift and stand entire time
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (overtime and weekends)
To perform the Hatebur Operator successfully, the following is required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- A minimum of 4 years prior mechanical, manufacturing or industrial experience
- Working knowledge of metrics
- Able to use a variety of hand and air tools and precision instruments
- Competence in all gauging instruments and data collection systems
- Ability to read blueprints and part programs
