REM is seeking a full time salaried Regional Director for the direction and supervision of all services provided in Dakota, Scott, Washington, Chisago, Goodhue and Wabasha Counties. The Regional Director oversees the quality of services provided including implementing initiatives to improve quality. The Regional Director also implements the strategic direction for operations and ensures alignment with the state business goals and objectives.

Description

The Regional Director oversees operations within the region including responsibility for the regional office, program services, personnel management, financial management, physical plant, public and county relations, as well as development and quality enhancement programs. This position is responsible for licensing compliance of state and county regulations. This position is also responsible for:

  • Overseeing the implementation of operations and individual’s supported service and supports for all service lines
  • Financial performance of the regional business unit including financial planning and budget management
  • Implementing the core growth strategy to increase census and occupancy percentages
  • Maintaining and fostering relationships with funders, case managers and seeking new referral sources
  • Providing leadership including direct supervision of Area Directors and/or Program Directors, and the regional support team including Office Manager, HR Coordinator, QA Specialist, Nursing, and Maintenance
Qualifications

Requirements:

· Four year college degree in a related field

· QDDP recognition as determined by the federal and state regulations

· Seven to ten years of related experience with significant management experience in the human services industry

· Supervisory experience necessary

· Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and state regulations

· Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of behavior management principles, program development and monitoring techniques

· Demonstrated ability in areas of leadership, personnel, program operation and fiscal management

· Skilled in written and oral communication, community relations and service development

· Eligible as determined by the BCA, DHS and the Company’s Corporate Compliance Plan

· Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurability requirements as defined by the Company’s insurance carrier
