This position will sit in our Pitney Bowes Software business unit, which provides global software solutions, data, and services to help customers gain greater competitive advantage and enhanced decision making abilities through an array of offerings in Communications Management., Customer Analytics and Location Intelligence. Pitney Bowes Software was created through key acquisitions of MapInfo, Group 1 and most recently Portrait Software. Weare currently seeking a Lead Generation Representativeto perform in depth research of key verticals to gain understanding of present and future business needs, quantify size of opportunity, measure competitive terrain and qualify and develop leads for both Field Sales Team. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be located in our Spokane, WA location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for introducing and positioning Pitney Bowes Software's products and services to key decision-makers within new targets in both prospect and existing accounts. Focus on individual and team goal to augment the sales pipeline by generating qualified sales leads through proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management. In this role, BDR will co-manage a territory alongside a specialized Account Executive. Additional responsibilities for this strategic role include:
  • Mastering product training as well as guideline call scripts for multiple products and multiple buyer profiles
  • Perform contact discovery where necessary
  • Maintain daily activities in salesforce.com
  • Provide daily/weekly updates to manager on individual activity
  • Interact regularly with management team to discuss the lead qualification process, and recommend improvements
  • Share feedback with Sales and Marketing teams and participate in developing new ways to increase awareness Pitney Bowes Software products and services
  • Drive participation to Pitney Bowes Software events

Qualification

Required Qualifications:
  • 4 year college degree
  • High energy, persistence, and enthusiasm
  • Knowledge of telephone marketing practices and principles.
  • Experience with MS Word and Excel programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills required.
