Electronics Technician - Full-time

Overview:

Work as a test technician as part of QuEST Rail's Electronic Card Assembly and Test (ECAT) team, which is responsible for manufacturing electronic circuit boards and assemblies, such as digital voice radios. We need a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Required Duties:

• Test electronic circuit boards, digital and analog radios, and assemblies.
• Need to be familiar with using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Willingness to learn how to use spectrum, network, and audio analyzers.
• Follow test procedures and identify test procedure improvements, especially test automation.
• Troubleshoot failing electronic assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and repair returned field units.
• Electronic assembly to include both manual assembly and machine operation.
• Packing and shipping completed electronic assemblies.
• Other assigned tasks as needed.

Acceptable Degrees:

• Associate of Applied Science in Electronics and Computer Technology
• Associate in Engineering
• Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology

Work Experience:

• 0–5 years working as an electronics technician

Skills:

• Manual dexterity
• Corrected or uncorrected vision suitable for working with microelectronic components
• General computer skills
