Clinical Nurse Educator

We have an immediate opening for a Clinical Nurse Educator at our Mundelein, Illinois headquarters. The Nurse Educator is responsible for oversight and development of all on-line Medline clinical education and written educational offerings that support product divisions and clinical programs. This position is key in the assurance that Medline maintains industry leadership through innovation and the use of technology for education purposes. This individual will provide oversight to ensure compliance with accreditation bodies for continued education standards. In addition to exceptional leadership and communication skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

Challenging responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy of all educational programs including updated regulations, policies, best practices and references.
• Oversee content and construction of education programs that Medline is currently leasing in order to reduce leasing fees and increase Medline-created programs.
• Collaborate and interface with other Medline teams to develop strategy for program development, program updates, revision of content and planning for future development to ensure concurrent offerings.
• Develop content and curriculum for new programs and all Continuing Education (CE) and non-Continuing Education offerings. Work with other Medline Clinical leaders to manage Medline's CE provider numbers and keep accreditation up to date. Monitor educational requirements for CNA, LPN, RN and other clinical providers to ensure educational requirements are being met by Medline University.
• Provide clinical information to partners regarding clinical or educational questions or concerns.

Qualification

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Health Related Field
• 5 years in clinical education role and 5 years hands-on clinical experience with homecare, long-term care or acute care
• Clinical specialty certifications in key areas that support Medline product line
• Strong written and communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations
• Ability to travel up to 30%
