We are looking for exceptional CAREGivers to join our growing team.
Home Instead Senior Care is looking for flexible, reliable, caring, and compassionate CAREGivers to help seniors maintain their independence at home by helping them with:
*Meal Preparation
*Light Housekeeping
*Companionship, conversation, and mental stimulation
*Errands and transportation
*Medication Reminders
*Possible assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting/depends
CAREGivers wanted immediately for both daytime, evening and/or overnight shifts (Eastside- Bellevue Area) Overnights must be able to do a minimum of 9pm-7am. This is a part-time job, however, there is a high possibility of full time hours + overtime pay if that is what you desire.
Requirements:
* Must be willing to take Home Care Aid (HCA) classes and work 15 hours a week during training for Home Instead to pay for the HCA training. Must complete all HCA training within 120 days and pass state HCA test within 200 days. Home Instead will pay for all the training for you as you go! Almost all the training is online, but some classroom training is required. Get your HCA Certification on us!!
*Must have a reliable car, current car insurance, and a current driver's license
*Be able to pass a national criminal background check, motor vehicle driving record check, and a drug test
*Must speak and write English clearly
Benefits: Overtime pay, retirement benefits (SIMPLE IRA's), paid vacation, and flexible hours. We will also pay for the 12 hours of ongoing continuing education credits required by Washington State Dept. of Health.
Location: Our Seniors are located in the following communities: Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, Redmond, Mercer Island, and Newcastle
Compensation: $11.50 per/hr while going through HCA training+ overtime (time and a half), some shorter shifts pay as high as $19 per/hr. Will receive a raise once training is complete.
This is considered a part-time job but many of our CAREGivers work full-time + overtime
