Job Description

As a General Laborer you will have the opportunity to work various types of jobs throughout the Bradenton, FL area.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to work indoors or outdoors
• Must be able to bend, kneel and stand for long periods of time and work long hours
• Some positions require heavy lifting
• Have the ability to work up to 7 days a week
• Ability to dig, load/unload items
• Be safety conscientious -- wear safety gear which could include: hard hats, glasses, gloves, steel toe boots, vest or any other required safety equipment
• Assist construction site workers in erecting structures and demolition
• Drill and blast into earth and rock
• Mix and pour concrete and asphalt
• Level concrete and earth using trowels and shovels, remove debris
• Clean up spills and remove hazardous material
• Direct and control traffic and erect traffic control signs
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment
• Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance
• Must be at least 18 years old
• May be asked to operate power tools to include:  air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
• May need to clean and prepare construction sites, dig trenches, set braces to support sides of excavations, erect concrete forms and scaffolding and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials.

Pay Rate:  $7.93 per hour

Shift/Hours:  Various shifts/hours available
