Responsibilities:

As an PRN Activities Assistant/Bus Driver, you'll assist in planning, implementation and evaluation of on-going program of activities designed to meet the interests and the physical, mental and psychosocial well being of each resident. Discover a rewarding career helping our residents improve their daily living skills by promoting resident socialization, expanding their personal interests, increasing their physical activity, and continuing their education.

Qualifications:

Position requirements include:
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail.
  • At least one year experience in conducting group activities.
  • Knowledgeable in evaluating resident needs.
  • Ability to set up and train volunteers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
  • Must be 18 years of age and have completed high school or the GED.
  • Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
