Time Warner Cable currently seeks a Technical Product Owner, CRM for our Architecture, Development & Engineering Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

The AD&E team occupies a unique, strategic role within Time Warner Cable with a large degree of autonomy in architecting and building Care Desktop, Customer Self Service and Telecommunications applications. In addition to leadership around traditional Web platforms, this group also performs pioneering work in cross-platform video services to set-top boxes, networked media appliances and mobile Web applications. The solutions developed by this group are deployed to audiences in excess of 10M unique users per month.


Essential Job Functions:
The Technical Product Owner, CRM collaborates with customers, business stakeholders, and the engineering teams to define and prioritize product features to maximize value delivered to Time Warner Cable customers. They combine expertise in their specific domain of Residential and Business Class with application of lean and agile principles to deliver innovative products. The primary role of the Technical Product Owner includes:

- Product/Feature Vision
o Define, communicate and reinforce the product/feature vision; make it visible
- Product/Feature Roadmap
o Collaborate with stakeholders and the team to define and communicate the product roadmap
o Enable incremental delivery of features over multiple releases, minimizing time-to-market
- Product/Feature Release plan
o Facilitate collaborative product discovery for a deep, common team understanding of customer needs
o Identify and prioritize features in collaboration with stakeholders and the development team
o Enable incremental feature development using lean and agile principles
- Product/Feature iteration/Sprint planning and review
o Prepare the product backlog for the upcoming 2-3 iterations/sprints
o Elicit and clarify requirements and priorities from stakeholders
o Lead Sprint planning meetings; explain feature priorities and requirements to the development team.
o Lead the Sprint Review (demo) along with stakeholders to provide fast feedback on sprint results
o Lead sprint retrospectives and contribute to continuous process improvement

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a concentration in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience of five to eight years of product development, product management, cable industry experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated work experience of agile/scrum methodology
- Strong ability to manage roadblocks and conflicts leading to resolution to keep the project on track
- Strong communication, presentation and listening skills
- Proficiency with a variety of agile project management tools as well as MS Project
- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills


Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in the cable industry
- Prior experience working with sales, marketing, product management, engineering and operations/support
- Working knowledge of lean and agile values, principles and practices
- Previous lifecycle experience managing one or more:
o Customer Relationship Management Systems
o Contact Center Desktop applications
o E-Commerce Integration and Deployment
o Enterprise application integration projects
- SCRUM Master and/or PMP certification a plus

Education and Experience:
Bachelor ' s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.

Travel Requirements:
Yes Travel 25 %

Manager: Delegates authority to carry out work of a unit to subordinate supervisors or managers
